How does digital transformation impact bank performance?

Digital transformation is a keyword that has not only been mentioned in recent years but also strongly applied by companies. However, the benefits of digital for companies are still an issue needs to be researched. Therefore, this study conducted determine dynamics on banking business results. The research was with joint stock commercial banks Vietnam listed exchange. Based text analysis annual reports measure banks’ level from 2015 2021. Research results have shown negative impact bank’s performance (through return assets and equity). Furthermore, found there paradoxical situation where COVID-19 increased profits banks. This result provides exciting discussions related bank performance.
